Beer and Oyster Feast to Kick Off Great Tastes Culinary Weekend
Baltimore, MD – Moorea Marketing today announced that it will host Heavy Seas Beer and Oyster Feast on Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Baltimore’s Clipper City Brewing Company.
The event, which is part of Great Tastes Culinary Weekend, will feature all you can eat oysters and select Clipper City beers, as well as a special behind the scenes tour of Baltimore’s largest brewery.
Clipper City Brewing Company is located at 4615 Hollins Ferry Road. Attendees will be able to visit Clipper City Brewing Company, which has been brewing a broad portfolio of products for more than a decade, and enjoy some of the brewery’s award-winning beers from the its Heavy Seas brand, including Loose Cannon, Small Craft Warning, Holy Sheet and Winter Storm.
A highlight of the evening will be the guided tour from the Founder and Managing Partner of the brewery, Hugh Sisson. The oysters will be provided from Ryleigh’s Brew Pub and Raw Bar in historic Federal Hill. Approximately five different types of oysters from all over the world will be available for attendees to taste. “The Heavy Seas Beer and Oyster Feast is the perfect event for kicking-off Great Tastes Culinary Weekend,” said Greg Nivens, President of Moorea Marketing, the show’s producer. “The evening will enable attendees to enjoy many different types of oysters while pairing them with some of Baltimore’s best locally made beers.”
