Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Downtown Long Beach to host a tap-takeover night with 12% Imports featuring Stillwater Artisanal Ales, and Evil Twin Brewing

Brian Ewing, Owner/Importer of 12% Imports (www.12percentimports.com) along with Brian Strumke, Founder and Brewer of Stillwater Artisanal Ales (stillwaterales.blogspot.com) and Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø, Owner and Brewer at Evil Twin Brewing will all be on hand to talk about the many beers they’ll have on tap at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing for one special night of special brews and a special menu.
Stillwater Artisanal Ales refers to the “gyspy brewer” Brian Strumke who has made a name for his craft brewing on the go. Ratebeer ranked Stillwater Artisanal Ales #2 New Brewer in the World for 2011 for his excellence in finely crafted ales.
Evil Twin Brewing is the brainchild of Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø. An avid beer geek since 1997, Jeppe began home-brewing in Copenhagen, Denmark in June/’03. His first foray into the commercial craft beer scene commenced in September/’05, when he opened the now world-famous bottle shop Ølbutikken in Copenhagen. The reputation of Jeppe & his shop grew quickly, and myriad side projects began (including his collaboration with Cantillon on the Blåbær Lambik – one of this most highly regarded, highly sought-after lambics in the world). Evil Twin Brewing is Jeppe’s latest venture, and is the culmination of the vast knowledge, experiences,and relationships he’s built over the years.
