RANDOM FUN ITEM: VOTE FOR RICE’S COLE ST. CLAIR FOR SENIOR AWARD
So we are a little partial to Rice Baseball. This award is for great college baseball players that stay for their senior year. So please vote for Rice’s closer (it takes 15 seconds): http://baseball.seniorclassaward.com/public/men/vote.aspx
LAST ITEM: BEWARE OF THE COPPER THIEVES!
Last week some #*$% thieves got up on our roof and stole about $200 worth of copper by ripping apart our refrigeration and a/c systems. In the process, they did over $75,000 worth of damage, plus sent us scrambling to come up with a temporary system to save our beer. Production was down for about 5 days, but we are back up and running, and most importantly, no beer was harmed. Extra protection will be installed with the replacement chillers, although in the end we decided against the gory booby-trapped systems we briefly fantasized about.
2008 has been a great year for us so far: continued sales growth, 2 World Beer Cup medals, 4 new tanks and we are getting very close to starting construction on our new brewery near downtown. Remember to recycle your six pack carriers, and thanks for your support!
Cheers!
