Let’s Help Alex Kidd / DontDrinkBeer Defeat Cancer Now

Last week, the craft beer community world wide was stunned to learn that Alex Kidd, founder of DontDrinkBeer and Malt Couture Podcast was rushed to emergency surgery where it was discovered he has stage four cancer.

Alex has been our friend since he started creating beer content, and has been an inspiration to The Full Pint, as we always wanted to be a media outlet that provided entertainment rather than hard hitting beer journalism that nobody has ever asked for.
Quickly after Alex sent out a note to his massive fanbase that he has been met with his biggest challenge in life to date, a GoFundMe was started and in less than 12 hours went over the $100,000 mark. Fellow Barleywine Is Life member Chris Rogers made a joke that we should change the goal to $420,069, and since he made that joke, we are well on our way.

We don’t have much more to accomplish here at TheFullPint, we are very grateful for the 16 years of support, if there is one thing I can ask all of you while you are still paying attention to us, is to please donate to Alex Kidd’s GoFundMe. One last thing on this rambling note: go get your colon checked. Schedule a colonoscopy. Alex has spent the last few years distancing himself from the overweight, over indulging lifestyle that comes with being a craft beer connoisseur and got himself in fantastic health. He started jogging and exercising and there was no sign that something crazy was going on inside his body. I’ve learned that’s how cancer works, it goes from 0 to 60 quick.
