Lambic Is Life: Understanding The #LiL Trend
For years, many young hip hop artists used the slang term Lil as a shortened version of the word little. The Full Pint has just uncovered a new sub-movement in the craft beer movement, not to be confused with rap, Little Wayne or a young lady named Liliana known as #LiL, which is an abbreviation for Lambic is Life.
Here’s what we know so far.
- Lambic is a sour “beer” derived from tart citrus fruit.
- The only authentic maker of lambic is Lindemans. Any other “blender” is obligated to use the term Lambic-style Ale, which is known as Life Adjacent.
Different kinds of authentic Lambic may include:
- Currants (A fruit)
- Oak (A wood)
- Framboise (A type of raspberry)
- Kriek (In the raspberry family)
