Escondido, CA – San Diego’s famed Stone Brewing Co. is proud to mark two solid years of distribution to Chicago. To celebrate, CEO & co-founder Greg Koch is making a trip to the Windy City from March 29-31 for three stellar events.
Thursday, March 29, 6:30pm — “Beer With Me (It’s For The Kids)”

Greg will be pairing five unique Stone beers with delectable dishes specially prepped by The Grille on Laurel. Tickets are $125 per person ($150 at the door), and are available for purchase here.
Ticket sales and a silent auction will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Countyand the ”I Have A Dream” Foundation. Ticket holders will also get their choice of one of Greg’s books (signed): The Craft of Stone Brewing Co.: Liquid Lore, Epic Recipes, and Unabashed Arrogance or The Brewer’s Apprentice.

Cultural & Civic Center of Round Lake Beach | 2007 Civic Center Way, Round Lake Beach
Greg will be on-hand to discuss the 15+ year history of Stone Brewing Co., with a little insight into his entrepreneurial style and personal philosophies intertwined with a brief overview of the craft brewing industry as a whole.
Tickets are $27 per person ($35 at the door) and include a choice of one of Greg’s books (signed): The Craft of Stone Brewing Co.: Liquid Lore, Epic Recipes, and Unabashed Arrogance or The Brewer’s Apprentice.
Attendees can also stay for a post-talk tasting that will feature a meet and greet, and a tasting of five Stone beers along with tasty snacks. Tickets for this portion of the evening are an additional $35 per person ($45 at the door), the proceeds of which will benefit the Round Lake Area Public Library. Saturday, March 31, 11am — “Solidarity!”
Timothy O’Toole’s Pub | 622 N Fairbanks Ct., Chicago, and 5572 Grand Ave, Gurnee
Eight American craft breweries will come together on Saturday, March 31 in an act of sudsy solidarity. This one-day affair will raise a glass to the revolution of independent and artisan beermakers, as well as celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Stone Brewing Co. distributing their beers to Chicago.
This unique tasting event is taking place at both of Timothy O’Toole’s Pub outposts (Chicago and Gurnee). Starting at 11am, Stone and the other participating breweries will take over the taps, offering patrons 60 beers to choose from, a whopping 50 of which are from Stone, including many rare, limited edition selections. Greg will be shuttling between locations from 1-4pm. Tickets are available for beer samples, food options,commemorative glassware, and round-trip bus transportation between locations.
