Widmer Brothers Rotator IPA Series – O’Ryely IPA

From Widmer Brothers – “A wry take on IPA”. Intensely hoppy, distinctly spicy.

Widmer Brothers – Widmer Brothers Rotator IPA Series – O’Ryely IPA – 12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 6.2% abv.

Appearance: Pours a dark amber with a white film sittin atop.

Aroma: Grapefruit, green tea, grain, and floral hops.

Taste: Bitter hops, dry earthy malt, a little citrus burst weaving in and out of all of that mentioned. Bitterness fads seconds after each sip.

Mouthfeel: Juicy, medium bodied with average carbonation.

Overall:  Above average, and one of the best executed Rye IPAs I’ve ever had.
