Triumph Imperious Pilsener
From Triumph Brewing Company: This overbearing Imperial Pilsner issues a scornful challenge. How much do you really like hops? Do you find bitterness arousing? We’ll see. Kaiser Bill himself was not more domineering.
Triumph Brewing Company-Le Cinq-served from draught in a wheat beer glass, ABV 9.2%. Purchased on tap at Triumph Brewpub-113 Chesnut Street Philadelphia, PA
Appearance: Coppery brown with a ¼” head
Smell: Strong hop scent with a pungent, salty smell.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with an extra dry finish.
Taste: Hops, hops, hops! First taste is the floral, aromatic hops followed by the chase of the bitter hops.
Drinkability: The perfect beer for the hop fanatic who finds the average IPA too tame.
