Three Floyds Dreadnaught Imperial IPA

From Three Floyds – A hophead’s dream beer. This Imperial India Pale Ale has an opening salvo of mango, peach and citrus hop aromas that sit atop a pronounced caramel malt backbone. Although Dreadnaught is a strong and intensely hoppy ale, its complex flavor is both smooth and memorable.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy bright yellow with a big soap sudsy head.

Aroma: Big citrus and a little catty.

Taste: Spicy malt, citrus and a bit of pine.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied moderately carbonated.

Overall: Really good, but could have been fresher.
