The Bruery Oude Tart
From The Bruery – Oude Tart, as it’s been named, is a delicious balance of sour and funk with subtle hints of leather and cherry.
The Bruery – Oude Tart Flemish Style Red Ale Aged in Oak Barrels – Goblet from the source. 7.5% abv.
Appearance: Dark, cloudy maroon wtih a sturdy tan head. Leaves decent lacing.
Aroma: Light funk, lemon, red wine/red grape skins, and a bit of brett and wood.
Taste: Light wood, lemon, red wine and a little bit of industrial brett.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and perfectly carbonated.
Overall: A really mild sour. You can tell a lot of care went into this, and you can taste the barrel aging. I could probably drink this all day.
