The Bruery Cherry Chocolate Rain
The Bruery – The Bruery Cherry Chocolate Rain – On cask at The Bruery’s Black Tuesday 2010 Release Party served in a goblet. 18.2% abv.
Appearance: Pours a dark brown with no head. Leaves a brown syrupy coating on the glass.
Aroma: Brownie mix, cherry candy, bourbon and cough syrup.
Taste: Cherry syrup, bourbon and milk chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Goopy with no carbonation.
Overall: This was way too sweet for my liking, and the cherries didn’t come across as real cherries, but more like cherry candy or cherry syrup you would pour over ice cream. Speaking of ice cream, this beer would be magic poured over a scoop of French vanilla ice cream.
