The Bruery – Barrel Aged Coton – Generous pours at The Bruery Second Anniversary Party Enjoyed in The Bruery glassware – 14.5% abv.
Appearance: Pours the same shade and color as black tea and had a thin, starts with a nice tan head that subsides to an oily film .
Aroma: Humongous, gigantic bourbon and sugar cereal notes.
Taste: Cherry, vanilla, caramel candy, apple, maple sugar, and believe it or not, enough hops to notice they were there.
Mouthfeel: Thick, almost goopy, warm.
Overall: I thought this beer seemed way larger in all respects than last years batch. I think it is a bit hot and needs some time to get settled. A good friend scored me a bottle of this, I’ll probably crack it in a year or two.
