Terrapin Side Project Hopzilla Double IPA

From Terrapin Beer – Made with 100% Maris Otter malt to back up the barrage of hop bitterness, flavor and aroma, this beast knows no boundaries. Terrapin Beer Co. – Terrapin Side Project Hopzilla Double IPA – 22 oz. bottle poured into a English pint glass. 10.7% abv.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy gold with a white ring of head.

Aroma: Big grapefruit, a little catty.

Taste: Big bitter and citrusy hop bombardment, with a very interesting malt bill. Very close to Stone 14th in my opinion. Fairly dry, but at the same time a little fruity and medicinal.

Mouthfeel: Dry, full bodied, fizzy.

Overall: A real treat of a double IPA.
