Terrapin Georgia Theatre Session: The Iron Tankard Old Stock Ale
From Terrapin – From Spike: Iron Tankard “Old Stock Ale” is the first of four beers in Terrapin’s Georgia Theatre Sessions. It is brewed with a generous portion of crystal malts for a full body and is lightly hopped. This malt forward beer has flavors of dark dried fruit, mellow alcoholic warmth and is unfiltered for your listening pleasure.

Terrapin Beer – Terrapin George Theatre Session – The Iron Tankard Old Stock Ale – 22 oz bottle poured into a goblet. 9.4% abv.
Appearance: Pours a clear, dark ruby with a decent head that subsides to a thin film.
Aroma: Grassy hops, cherry cough drops and a touch of chocolate.
Taste: Burnt sugar, dark chocolate and black cherry. A little medicinal.
Mouthfeel: Thin, sticky with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A nice beer I would pair with dessert. Warmed me up quite a bit too.
