Terrapin All American Imperial Pilsner
From Terrapin – Back in office for a limited term comes our All-American Imperial Pilsner! What better way to celebrate Election Year 2012 than to bring back this throwback from our original Monster Beer Tour lineup? This big imperial represents a classic German style but with that All-American flair. The US hops lend the beer a fruity, citrusy flavor which is artfully balanced with the malt to give this brew a dry, drinkable appeal.
Terrapin Beer Co. – Terrapin All American Imperial Pilsner – 22 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 8.7% abv. Reviewed by TFP Alum Big Mike!
Appearance: Pale yellow, clear, thin quickly dissipating, bright, white head
Smell: Sweet malty goodness, some hops, a bit of white sandwich bread
Taste: Sweet, almost cloying, overtly malty, hint of hop bitterness, floral notes
Mouthfeel: Thick, syrupy, not much carbonation
Overall: Big beer, not a chugger, pretty hot, but still approachable. Not my favorite style of beer, but worth a try, especially if you like Imperial Pilseners.

I felt like it turned into an IPA as I drank it. Mine was also rather carbonated, so maybe some variation there.
