Stone Brewing – StoneWall Ale – On tap at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens Winter Storm 2011 – 12.2% abv.
Appearance: Pours a hazy copper with a thin white film for head.
Aroma: Turbinado sugar, peach and tangerine.
Taste: Peach, tangerine, brown sugar, bitter hops, earthy fruit pit in the finish. Not overly sweet, and not terribly boozy either.
Mouthfeel: Syrupy with modest creamy carbonation.
Overall: Tasty, delicious. I’ve been hoping to try this for a long time, and I’m glad I did.
