Appearance: Pours a dark brown with a thick beige ring of tight foam.

Aroma: Coconut, bubble gum, dates, yogurt covered raisins, and lightly roasted malt.

Taste: Dark cherry, wood, bread crust, light bubble gum, chocolate that finishes with slight bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Thin, silky, with very modest carbonation.

Overall: Simply amazing.  I remember this beer being a tad hot, and not nearly as complex as it is now, four years later.  I really lucked out being at the right place at the right time. Stone Brewing rocks so hard, offering their cellar archives for growler fill.  I can’t think of any other craft brewery that does that on a regular basis. What a treat!!
