Silver City Imperial Stout
From Silver City Brewing – An extrememly dark black beer with massive roasted malt character balanced with assertive hopping, fruity esters and a sinister alcohol content.
Silver City Brewing – Silver City Imperial Stout – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 9.2% abv.
Appearance: Pours a dark brown with a frothy tan head.
Aroma: Roasted cereal, big euro-hop, cigar, grape drink, cigar wrapper.
Taste: Roasted malt, burnt malt, vanilla, ash. All these flavors fall off quickly.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, average carbonation.
Overall: A dry, spicy impy. I think it needs a little bit of time laying down.
