Shorts Über Goober Oatmeal Stout

From Short’s Brewing – This highly coveted beer employs the largest amount of grain out of any other beer in our portfolio.  It happened by accident, but we’re going to keep it that way. With roughly a handful of peanuts in every glass, this beer generates a rich aroma of peanuts, chocolate along with other caramelized and roasted grains. It’s uniquely satisfying and very popular.

Short’s Brewing – Short’s Über Goober Oatmeal Stout – 12 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 6.5% abv.

Appearance: Pours a viscous dark brown with no head to speak of. Leaves iodine like legs.

Aroma: Herbal hop spice, crushed peanuts, real peanut butter (that goopy stuff you have to mix before serving, not Jiff or Peter Pan stuff), dark chocolate, peanut shells.

Taste: Dark chocolate, dry dark roast, peanut butter, dark rum, spicy hops.

Mouthfeel: Slick, low carb, silky.

Overall: Very tasty. Comes off like a dark chocolate peanut butter cup, Not too thick, but still has tons of body to it.
