Schlafly Pumpkin Ale

Appearance:  Pours a dark red no bubbles no head. The body lets through light.

Aroma:  Pumkin pie and associated spices. Not much more to say, what they were going for is what’s going on.

Taste:  Gingerbread,  pumpkin,  small hop spice. The 8% alcohol is pretty well integrated.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with modest carbonation.

Overall: A good example of a pumpkin ale. Nothing off the beaten path in the genre, but well executed.
