Review – Point Oktoberfest
Stevens Point – Point Oktoberfest 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. abv unknown.
Appearance: A clear amber with tons of carbonation rising to the top. There isn’t much of a head on this.
Aroma: Crusty bread and a slight whiff of sweetness. You will also notice some hop spice in the finish.
Taste: Dry bready malt, and some moderately bitter hops. The bitter hops are borderline metallic on the back of my tongue.
Mouthfeel: Crisp, refreshing, on the thin side for the style.
Overall: This would be an Oktoberfest to get for a long session. This seems a bit light for the style, but would definitely throw this dead in the center of an Oktoberfest party/tasting.
