Appearance: Pours a dark auburn with almost no head.
Aroma: Sweet aromas of toffee, booze, dark fruits, caramel, and peaches.
Taste: Sweet flavors of caramel, chocolate, spiced apples, dried apricots, bitter hops, and a touch of booze.
Mouthfeel: Slightly sticky.
Overall: A wonderful barleywine that straddles between traditional and west coast.
