Maredsous 10 Tripel

Sweetness and fruitiness join hoppy spiciness in a balanced, long, warm finish. This is strong ale, but the balance, finish, and velvety smoothness make this 10% brew smooth and quaffable.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a fluffy sudsy white head.

Aroma: Banana, spices (cloves and corriandor) and other scents associated with Tripel yeast. As it warms up, there are vanilla notes that come through.

Taste: A huge burst of fruity yeast, some dry malt, and a fruity finish with a little bit of spicy hop bite in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Thick.

Overall: Average.
