Founders Harvest Ale
From TFP: When checking out http://www.foundersbrewing.com , I found that there wasn’t any mention of this ale. I would imagine that this beer is released when all the other breweries in America release their Harvest/Wet Hopped Ales, in September and October.
Founders Brewing – Harvest Ale – Wet Hoped Ale – 12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Acquired through trade. 6-7% abv.
Appearance: A dull, light yellow with a 1 inch sudsy head. The sudsy head leaves behind a good deal of lace.
Aroma: Grass, yeast, and a little bit of citrus and pineapple.
Taste: Bitter hops, a quick hit of citrus and pine, and a bready funky finish.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied and heavy. Very fizzy.
Overall: I am usually not high on harvest ales, but this one was very flavorful and refreshing.

Yep. It comes out in the early autumn. A very limited run too. Seems bottles only lasted a couple weeks on our local shelves the POOF it was gone. Good stuff, as usual, from Founders.
