Review – Dupont Foret

Dupont Brasserie – Foret, also known as Moinette Biologique in countries outside of the United States. 11.2 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 7.5% abv. USDA Organic.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy dull amber gold. I got about 1/2 inch of foamy head that eventually subsided. Let’s in a bit of light, but you cannot see objects through it.

Aroma: Dry malts and fruity Belgian yeast.

Taste: Dry malts, spicy fruity Belgian yeast. Finishes dry with a moderate amount of spicy, bitter hops.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, very carbonated.

Overall: A classic, easy drinking, well crafted beer.  I bought the 11.2 oz.bottle, I regret not buying the 750ml.  Highly recommended.
