Review – Deschutes Twilight Seasonal Ale
Deshutes Twilight Seasonal Ale – Poured from a 12oz bottle to a pint glass. 5% abv.
Appearance:
Straw yellow, a bit cloudy, with a bright white 1/2 inch head.
Aroma:
Bananas and bread crust.
Taste:
Although I have heard this is an American Pale, it reminds me of a lemony pilsner or a blonde ale. Medium carbonation with bready hops and malts.
Mouthfeel:
Crisp, juicy and refreshing.
Overall:
A great summer drinker and a great offering from Deschutes. I like this better than Samuel Adams and Sierra Nevadas Summer counterparts.
