Review – Bell’s Expedition Stout
Bell”s: “The vintage port of American stout. A good ale for the cellar. Well suited for November storms and trips across the Sahara.”
Appearance: Midnight brown with a ring of tan suds and swirls at the top.
Aroma: Dark chocolate, chocolate pudding, plums, and black licorice.
Taste: Dark chocolate, wood, a light rum, vanilla, and burnt malts.
Mouthfeel: Amazingly thick and smooth. Not gooey or syrupy like some beers of the same style.
Overall: This beer is amazing. I got this on a trade on ratebeer.com, and must say…it’s worth the hype.
