Perennial Abraxas

From Perennial – Abraxas–Imperial Stout brewed with Ancho Chiles, Cacao Nibs, Vanilla Beans & Cinnamon  Sticks.

Perennial Artisan Ales – Perennial Abraxas – 750 ml. bottle poured into a goblet. 10% abv.

Appearance:  Pours dark brown with zero head.

Aroma: Chili, cinnamon, chocolate. Sage like herbal note.

Taste:  Cinnamon, chili pepper, chocolate and  coconut. Alcohol present, but very well integrated at 10%.

Mouthfeel: A little chalky. Full bodied.

Overal: One of my favorite flavor profiles for a beer. I like a lot along with Indra Kunindra, Hunahpu’s and New Belgium’s Cocoa Mole beer.
