Mikkeller Warrior Single Hop IPA

From Mikkeller – The second in a new series of single hop IPA’s from Mikkeller. Brewed with Warrior, a classic hop type in it’s home country USA. An extremely fresh-hopped IPA.

Mikkeller – Warrior Single Hop IPA – 12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 6% abv. On tap at Naja’s Place Redondo Beach, CA

Appearance: Pours a dull amber gold with no rising carbonation.

Aroma: Moderate earthy grassy hop.

Taste: Lemony, earthy hop that finishes bitter.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with modest carbonation.

Overall: A very unique flavored IPA. I don’t usually get to taste Warrior by itself, and I enjoyed its complexities.
