Mikkeller Hop Burn High

From Mikkeller – An Imperial India Pale Ale brewed with: water, malt, hops and ale yeast U.S.

Mikkeller – Mikkeller Hop Burn High – 12 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 10% abv.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange gold with a dense white layer of off-white cream.

Aroma:  Grapefruit ,earthy skunky hops, pineapple and caramel.

Taste: Bitter and juicy hops, salty caramel malt, pineapple, bitterness lingers.

Mouthfeel:  Full bodied. Rough texture.

Overall: This was big and hoppy and sweet.  A great example of an American Double IPA.  I’m glad I tried it but have no reason to ever drink it again unless I’m in Europe and it’s Fresh.
