Midnight Sun Fallen Angel

From Midnight Sun – Fallen Angel Golden Ale, first brewed on 6-6-6 [JUN 6, 2006], is named in the tradition of Belgian golden strong ales–after the devil himself. We call this beer our “original sin” because it spawned our 2007 Deadly Sin beer series.

Midnight Sun Brewing – Midnight Sun Fallen Angel – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 8.5% abv.

Appearance:  Pours a dull cloudy amber gold with a tight creamy 1/8″ cap.

Aroma: Rose scented lotion and spicy Belgian yeast.

Taste: Sharp,spicy yeast, bitter hops. Finishes fruity.

Mouthfeel:  Crisp with lively bubbles.

Overall:  For a style I don’t appreciate that often, this was way above average. Very crisp and clean.
