Magic Hat Encore

From Magic Hat – A genre-blending mix of an American wheat beer and a traditional India Pale Ale. Encore is hopped  and dry-hopped with Simcoe and Amarillo hops, and has a pleasant grapefruit aroma that compliments its subtly sweet malty backbone. Grab a lighter and get up front!

Magic Hat Brewing – Magic Hat IPA On Tour: Encore – 12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 6.4% abv.

Appearance:  Pours a cloudy amber gold with a beautiful thick white cap of dense foam.

Aroma:  Grassy hops, orange peel, crusty bread.

Taste: Nice bitter American hops, toasty bread crusty malt, a citrus twang. Finishes with a decent lingering bitterness.

Mouthfeel:  On the high side of medium carbonation. Medium bodied.

Overall:  A very clean hoppy wheat ale.  Obviously drink this fresh, and you will find this to be one of the most enjoyable Magic Hat beers you’ve tried.
