Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout

From Lagunitas – Big, Dark and Scary Imperial-esque Stout Brewed With Plenty of Dark Malts and Roast Barley And Loads of Sebastopol’s Hardcore Coffee for Even Bigger Roasty Flavors and that Extra Krunk.

Lagunitas Brewing – Cappuccino Stout – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 9.2% abv.

Appearance: Pours a dark reddish brown with a thin fizzy head.

Aroma: Baking cocoa and coffee.

Taste: Coffee and bittersweet chocolate at first, then roasted malt and hop spice.

Mouthfeel: Thin and fizzy.

Overall: It is a very nice dry strong stout. If you are expecting an Imperial Stout like profile, you will be dissapointed, if you love a hearty coffee porter with a high ABV, this beer will knock your socks off.
