Kern River Holiday Ale 2010

Kern River Brewing – Kern River Holiday Ale 2010 – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 7% abv. Purchased at Whole Foods Market Pasadena, CA

Appearance: Pours a deep dark amber with a froth white cap.

Aroma: Big citrus hop nose, earthy chocolaty malt.

Taste: Earthy savory malt, citrusy and piny hops.

Mouthfeel: Creamy, average carbonation.

Overall: Really tasty. It didn’t make me do backflips, and didn’t seem very holiday-ish, but it was above average with great hopping.
