Jester King Noble King

From Jester King – Earthy noble hops and rustic farmhouse yeast create an elegant balance in this dry and drinkable golden ale. Naturally carbonated through re-fermentation in the bottle.

Jester King Craft Brewery – Jester King Noble King Hoppy Farmhouse Ale – 750 ml. bottle poured into a goblet. 5.9% abv.

Appearance:  Pours a bright cloudy amber gold with a retaining white cap of tight foam.

Aroma:  Bright Euro hops, bread dough and light spices.

Taste: Spicy bitter hops, spicy yeast with some floral notes.  Finishes more yeasty than hoppy.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied modest carbonation.

Overall: This beer was decent, but nothing I would go out of my way to try again.  It’s jut not one of my favorite styles of beer. It was well executed, just not my bag.
