Jackie-Os Oil of Aphrodite

From Jackie O’s – Imperial Stout brewed with Black Walnuts and Dark Belgian Candi Sugar.

Jackie O’s Pub and Brewery – Jackie O’s Oil of Aphrodite – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 10% abv. From Andrew B!

Appearance: Pours a midnight brown with a thin tan ring and a few pockets of tan bubbles. Very viscous.

Aroma: Roast, chocolate, walnuts, news print and coffee.

Taste: Dark chocolate milk (is there such a thing?), caramel, dark roast, coffee and ash.

Mouthfeel: Thick, syrupy, coating, lovely carbonation.

Overall:  Good slow sipper. My first Jackie O beer, and I’m in love.
