Jackie-Os Bourbon Barrel Aged Rt. 33 Porter

From Jackie O’s – Bourbon barrel aged imperial oatmeal chocolate pecan porter.

Jackie O’s Pub and Brewery – Jackie O’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Rt. 33  Porter – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 9.2% abv.

Appearance:  Pours a viscous brown with no head. Leaves a bit of legs on the side.

Aroma: Whiskey, burnt sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract.

Taste:  A bit of pecan pie up front, whiskey, and burnt roast. The booze and roast linger well past the sip.

Mouthfeel:  Full bodied. Neither sticky nor goopy but definitely thick.

Overall:  A well done barrel aged beer. All parts made up a great sum.
