J.W. Lees Harvest Ale Vintage 2006

From J.W. Lees – Released in limited quantities in December, Harvest Ale gives a rich, strong flavour, beloved by beer connoisseurs. It can be laid down like a vintage wine for enjoying in later years.

J.W. Lees – J.W. Lees Harvest Ale – Vintage 2006 – 12 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 11.5% abv. Shared at DLD 2010.

Appearance: Pours a bright amber with a stripe of head.

Aroma: Caramel and maple syrup as well as dried apricot.

Taste: Apricot and brown sugar.

Mouthfeel: Sticky.

Overall: A sweet goopy treat. I wouldn’t have more than 6 oz. at a time of this.
