Funky Buddha Last Snow

From Funky Buddha Brewery – Last Snow Coconut & Coffee Porter is an ode to that special time in Florida where the needle dips just south of 75 – even for the briefest of moments. This rich, creamy porter is layered with coconut and freshly-roasted coffee for a taste that recalls a winter wonderland – even if, in our state, that’s just a state of mind.

Funky Buddha Brewery – Funky Buddha Last Snow – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 6.4% abv.

Appearance: Pours black with thin white swirly film.

Aroma:  French toast with maple syrup and cinnamon, toasted sweetened coconut and powdered sugar. Light roasty smokey malt.

Taste:  Cinnamon, vanilla, cola, coconut, swisher sweet cigar, medium roast coffee.

Mouthfeel:  Medium bodied and effervescent.

Overall:  I am over the moon about this beer. I heard lots of buzz around this guy, and while I wasn’t skeptical, I was simply not ready for its awesomeness.  It’s one of those beers you could spend smelling 30 minutes before even taking your first sip. Gotdam!! Very happy with it’s body and balance for having so much going on, great job all around.
