Foothills Hoppyum IPA

Appearance: Pours a clear amber gold with a thin film of white.
Aroma: Faint herbal and citrus hop nose.
Taste: Palmolive, orange, pine, finishes earthy.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied peppery carbonation.
Overall: This is the type of East Coast IPA I don’t care for. It’s soapy and malty, and I have had plenty others like this from this side of the country. Foothills makes some pretty amazing beers, but I probably won’t revisit this one unless someone tells me this wasn’t the experience I was supposed to have.
