Foothills Barrel Aged Sexual Chocolate Imperial Stout

Foothills Brewing – Foothills Barrel Aged Sexual Chocolate Imperial Stout – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 10% abv. Thanks to Spencer in SC.

Appearance: Pours a dark brown with a small gathering of tan suds.

Aroma: Big bourbon notes, lots of vanilla and chewy caramel, baking chocolate and medium roast.

Taste: Smooth bourbon, vanilla, dark fruit, wood and cocoa.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, creamy with modest carbonation.

Overall: A pretty amazing treat.  Fillet Mignon is great, fillet wrapped in bacon is even better. The same goes for SC in regards to BA SC.
