Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a chilled pint glass.

Appearance
Orange color with a reddish hue. Not much head or lace left on the glass. Crystal clear and gorgeous when looking at it in the glass.

Aroma
Noticeable European grains and yeast right away. In the background, subtle hints of dough or bread with a sweetness lingering about.

Taste
Mild compared to most Marzen styles. A nice creamy texture is complimented by sourness from the malts. I could drink this style all day.

Mouthfeel
Not very thick but not too thin either. This beer is balanced just right and leaves a nice tingle from the carbonation. Easy drinkability.

Overall
I am a huge fan of Flying Fish, not just because they are the closest brewery to my house in NJ, but because I have yet to try a FF beer that I did not like. Their interpretation of an Octoberfest style is simply delicious and easy to drink.
