Fantôme de Noël

From Fantôme – A very dark and entirely unique holiday seasonal beer, at a whopping 10% alc. by volume. Reportedly spiced with honey, caramel, coriander, black pepper, and other secret ingredients.

Appearance:  Pours a dark clear amber with a ring of off white bubbles.

Aroma: Light bubble gum, clove, cinnamon and toasted malt.

Taste: Toasty malt, bubble gum dark fruit.

Mouthfeel:  Full bodied average carbonation.

Overall: The last thing I think of when I drink this baby is a Saison, which I know is a broad interpretation.  Anyway, tasty and festive.
