From Brouwerij de Molen – Batch 666 was H&V with added wood chips soaked in a 40 year old cognac.

Brouwerij de Molen – De Molen Hel & Verdoemenis 666 – Small bottle (35 cl.) – Poured into a goblet. 10% abv.

Appearance:  Pours a viscous black with a thin tan head.

Aroma:  Coffee. Tasty coffee not stale. Sugar.

Taste:  Coffee. Sweet dark malt. Roast. Didn’t pick up any wood, but some rich booziness.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, deceptively carbonated for having no head action.

Overall:  A tasty, rich satisfying sipper.  Would definitely seek this out again. Thanks for the bottle James B from DC.
