Clown Shoes Luchador en Fuego

From Clown Shoes Beer – Our Third anniversary beer is Luchador En Fuego, a 100% bourbon barrel aged version of Chocolate Sombrero that we up sized to 11% and added more ancho chile, more cinnamon, and chipotle pepper.

Clown Shoes Beer – Clown Shoes Luchador en Fuego – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 11% abv.

Appearance:  Pours dark brown with tan swirls. Looks really thick.

Aroma:  Big huge chocolate,vanilla, bourbon, brownie.

Taste:  Dark chocolate, wood, bourbon whisky, roast.

Mouthfeel:  Full bodied with modest carbonation.

Overall: Simply delicious! I’m a fan of Chocolate Sombrero, and the barrel aged treatment as well as fluffing it up did this beer right. I would be very happy if Clown Shoes brought this back once a year.
