Clown Shoes Hoppy Feet Black IPA

From Clown Shoes – Hoppy Feet has been lovingly crafted by combining Premium malt with lots of Amarillo and Columbus Hops.  Grapefruit and Pine are balanced on the nose and on the palate by a nutty, dark chocolate, roasted backbone.

Clown Shoes Beer – Clown Shoes Hoppy Feet Black IPA – 22 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 7% abv.

Appearance: Pours black with frothy swirls of head.

Aroma: Faint citrus and sage.

Taste: Very bitter hops and malt. A bit of grapefruit on the finish.

Mouthfeel: Thin with prickly carbonation.

Overall: I found this to be like a really bitter porter.
