Cigar City SNACK ATTACK!

From Cigar City Brewing – Our collaboration with Bluejacket and Funky Buddha. Here’s what to expect when drinking: peanut butter cups, milk duds, black licorice, chocolate-covered peanuts and salted caramel.

Cigar City Brewing – Cigar City SNACK ATTACK! – On tap at Stone 16th – 10% abv.

Appearance: Pours a dark brown with a nice frothy tan head

Aroma:  Roasted peanuts. Chocolate.

Taste: Roasted peanuts, peanut butter, toffee. Roasted malt. Modest but noticeable spicy hops , caramel. A little salty too. Crazy. Alcohol pretty hidden.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied. Creamy.

Overall:  My gut reaction to this beer was ‘Fun!’ I’m not exactly sure what all was thrown into it, but it very much a peanut butter cup beer. Very tasty, put a smile on my face, and didn’t come across like a typical 10% beer.
