From Cigar City – Double barrel aged version of Marshal Zhukov’s Imperial Stout for 2010. A blend of bourbon and brandy barrel aged Marshal Zhukov’s Imperial Stout.

Appearance:  Pours an inky black with no head and no visible carbonation. Leaves legs on the glass.

Aroma: Sweet booze, rubbing alcohol, roast, smoke, salty caramel and dusty oak.

Taste: Chewy caramel, peppery roast, milk chocolate, toasted oak, mellow sipping bourbon, currant and ashes.

Mouthfeel: Sticky, not as thick as it’s untreated counter part, and very low carbonation.

Overall: Real tasty and complex. Very inviting, and well done.
