Cigar City Leon

From Cigar City –  Leon. Mr. Coker was a cabinet maker who did several tours in WW II, where he was wounded twice for which he received two Purple Hearts. His other medals include with Oak Leaf, Crois De Guerre, American Defense Service Medal, EAMETO Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge GO 53, and Bronze Star Medal.

Cigar City Brewing – Cigar City Leon – 750 ml. bottle poured into a goblet. 13.5% abv.

Appearance:  Pours a deep magogany with with a soapy tan ring.

Aroma:  Sweet cherry pie, apples, brandy. Brown sugar.

Taste:  Brown sugar, maple sugar, brandy, wood, burnt sugar. Not particularly bitter or hoppy.

Mouthfeel:  Full creamy carbonation.

Overall:  Magnificent. Ready to drink now, and way to easy for 13.5 % abv.
