Bootlegger’s Brewery – Bootlegger’s Chocolate Mint Porter – On tap at Bootlegger’s tasting room. Fullerton, CA. 6.2% abv.

Appearance: Pours a dark brown with no head.

Aroma: York pepper mint patty.

Taste: Pepper mint patty, bitter roast, herbal minty aftertaste and burp.

Mouthfeel: Highly carbonated, full bodied.

Overall: Very interesting, and pretty close to a chocolate mint candy. You couldn’t session on this beer, but it would pair well with a chocolate dessert.
